CHOOSING PAINT FILL COLOR TIPS

• For the best legibility, choose a color with the highest contrast to your switchplate color.

• For more subtle text, choose a color similar to the switchplate color.

• Choosing the same paint fill color as the switchplate color is not recommended. The text will not be very legible.

• White or black paint fill are the best choices for orange plates.

• Brown, almond, blue and green work well on orange plates and are legible.

• Yellow, grey, burgundy, red, and orange are not recommended on orange plates.
